AGROCARE is Netherland-based organisation that works in Somalia and supports the disadvantaged community groups to alleviate poverty and tackle problems affecting education, health, water, sanitation, food security and livelihoods. It also engages the community in terms of peace building and governance.

· Our vision is Somalia without poverty and in which every citizen lives with dignity and in an acceptable quality of life.

· Our aim is to help ensure that very individual in Somalia gets access to basic services of education and health; and sustainable life earning reasonable living.

Districts: Regions: Jalalaqsi, Dhoobley, Baletweyne, Qoryoley, Bulaburte, Jowhar, Mahaday and Afgoye Lower Shabelle, Hiran, Lower Juba and Middle Shabelle.

Current programmes and activities:

1. Distribution NFIs to the IDPs in Middle and Lower Shabelle region (20,000 families) funded by UNHCR.

2. Distribution of emergency relief food to the flood affected families (15,000 people) in Mahaday district in Middle Shabelle region funded by WFP.

3. Protection Monitoring funded by Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC)

4. Population Movement Tracking funded by UNHCR and AGROCARE
